"Too "hard""

It's a shame that there's really only one way to win. It feels so linear in that you basically have no chance of winning unless you spam flamethrowers and ice towers everywhere. The other towers are just way too weak later on, or too expensive for the amount of damage they do. It was fun the first time i played, but has no replay value.

Because you don't have free options on what you wanna use, it feels limited. Why not add difficulty levels and include different towers?

At first it's too easy, then it gets pretty much impossible with very steep difficulty curves at the incremented levels(5,10,15,20). Maybe it'd help to put different difficulty settings? Also, I died at level 22 with like 8 hearts. Maybe it would be better if they auto repaired once you hit 0 health, or better yet, maybe it'd be better to just get some sort of upgrade that autorepairs you as you fire. The overheating thing was a little annoying, not because it happened, but more because you couldn't upgrade it to lower the time it happened. Also, I noticed there was an ammobar for the secondary weapons. Please make sure that theres a reload button in a sequel so I don't have to fire at nothing, sacrificing accuracy, to just reload.

Pretty solid overall, but it just needs to be tweaked slightly before it can be great.

The game should end when you have the axe, because you don't need your hands to be freed to grasp an axe, so you can just slash the guy while he's coming through the door. And seriously, do you really need a crowbar to break thin emergency glass, and wouldn't the guy hear it in any case? The "killer" sounds like an idiot, and you can't see crap, either because it's too dark everywhere, or your hands keep blocking your view. This game has good graphics, but that's it.

"Severely limiting"

The characters only shoot at a predetermined position, I can't rotate them to what direction I want, I can't control when the slots stop, and I can't even keep leveled up characters through levels. All in all, the game is very limiting, which keeps it from being good. It seems like it could've been good if these issues were addressed.

The fact that you couldn't really generate your own money killed it for me. You'd have to either remain on a winning streak the whole game while not using very much money, or if you lost even a single battle, the entire game would be practically over right there.

It'd be a lot better if you didn't only have one space to work with, and if you could rotate pieces, with some extra challenges around(Maybe a guy that comes to steal pipes and you have to throw something at him to make him go away?).

To ringy: If you weren't challenged, as you obviously are, you would notice the specs of towers had you clicked them.

The game is decent. Nice lag control, okay difficulty, great music, pretty graphics(I especially liked how you integrated the logo to be the city you're defending). But, it was lacking a little bit. It had everything a game needs to be a good defense game: upgrades, enemy health bars, specialized towers, etc. Another plus to the game was the fact that an enemy's damage to your city depended on the enemy's health, which made it fairer. It was close to a 10, but there were so few towers, and no traps to use on the paths. Also, you only had a choice of one map (at least from what I've seen, I wasn't able to finish the game because I had to go to work. I apologize if there are, in fact, other choices or unlockable maps later in the game.) One more aspect was the music. The music was nice, but there were only a couple songs. It'd be nice if you included around five songs, or an option to mute only the sound or only the music, instead of everything at once. Despite these small limitations, this game is, in my mind, one of the better defense games on newgrounds. It beats well over half of the flashes submitted these days.
